Enjoy Studio has announced a new title that will make the dream of owning your own seaside pub come true... Later this year, players will be able to support the development via Kickstarter

Following the Kickstarter success of The Witch of Fern Island, Enjoy Studio is serving a new, delicious, straight-out-of-the-sea title – Spooky Bay. Have you ever dreamed of running your own seaside pub? Here it is! No need to worry about the competition - you’re the only “decent” establishment in this area. The clientele, however, is a full range of dodgy faces. Scales, algae hair and bulging eyes are no surprise around here, so don't stare at them for too long. After all, even monsters don’t have all day to wait for a meal.

The bay's nasty clientele is known for having a particularly picky palate, and the deep-sea travel seems to have whetted their appetite even further. Players will need to roll up their sleeves to prepare the resort for some new guests. That includes: gathering the dishes, mopping the floors, chopping the ingredients, heating the oven, boiling the stock, preparing the utensils, making sure nothing gets burnt... aargh! Then all that's left to do is serve before the customers’ patience runs out.

Alongside Spooky Bay's clientele and perfectly round pebbles, the sea has thrown ashore a trailer. Perfectly fresh and ready to fry, it is now available:

The game card is now live on Steam, where the game will launch in Early Access. What's more, later this year gamers will have the opportunity to get involved in the development process by backing this title on Kickstarter.

Spooky Bay isn't just about cooking on time – we're creating a humor-filled adventure in a world full of surreal creatures. Every meal here is a creepy work of culinary art, and every spooky guest comes with their own mystery – peculiar taste, preferences and demands. We are sure that the campaign on Kickstarter, launching later this year, will allow us to witness the creation of many spooky-guest resorts.

Time for a fiesta! 🔥

Apron up! Your birlike companion will inform you of the arrival of more abominations... that is, your esteemed customers. Heat up the oven and stir that cauldron – sea travel is monstrously appetite-boosting!

Fresh ingredients straight from your local suppliers 🧑‍🌾

Catch flying leaflies and potato fairies, milk worms, chop noiseshrooms and peel meaty folds from plants – all perfectly normal ingredients are at your fingertips here... Develop your culinary skills and learn new recipes, after all, the way to your customers' hearts is through their stomachs (assuming they have hearts).

Keep up the pace and delegate tasks ⏰

A good kitchen works like a living organism, although in Spooky Bay it's not the best comparison.... Remember to pay attention to the clock and assign responsibilities. To whom? To your sous-chefs! You can battle against time solo or with other players. Only the fastest or those who can be successfully rushed by their chef will survive.

Exotic clientele 🧌

Your resort will be visited by misfits from the furthest corners of the world, each with their own rules. Knowing the customer's taste is one thing, while overcoming the obstacles on the way to pick up the order is quite another! Remember, each barge is different - holes in the floor (or maybe the ceiling), tight aisles between tables. Just don't drop the tray!

Hauntingly funny neighborhood ☠️

Spooky creatures (aka your customers) are divided into groups with unique characteristics. Each has its own preferences and distinctive behaviors. It's a known fact that not everyone will happily eat some potato fairy fries... but a noiseshroom casserole and a strange-looking broth may prove to be the key to success.

This is your swam... bay! And your cozy resort 🏚️

Every satisfied visitor means a fair payment. Exchange it for new kitchen utensils or clothes. After a successful fiesta, you can also expect new furniture and interior decorations. Your somehow charming marina will take on an individual character, and if you "do it right" you will attract more customers.
