In The Day I Will Die, Lost Lighthouse Games studio invites players to a valley where the fog not only hides the landscape – it blurs the line between what once was and what remains only a fleeting memory.
It’s a place where time loops endlessly, and familiar trails lead back to the summers we thought we’d forgotten or the dreams that never really left us.
Players find themselves stranded in a remote mountain valley, shrouded in thick, impenetrable mist. What seems empty at first, soon reveals echoes of the past – childhood landmarks: forest paths, stone bridges, and above all, an old camp, where we once spent our summer.
But as memories return, so do the figures and creatures born from our childhood stories – monsters and heroes from late-night campfire tales and the pop culture of a bygone era. What once lived only in imagination now walks among the living – real, tangible, and deadly.
The Day I Will Die is a first-person action thriller featuring dynamic, varied combat, where reality merges with the remnants of childhood wonder. It’s a journey through the landscape of memories and into oneself – to understand what we’ve lost, what we’ve gained, what we’ve given up, and how our adult “self” has been shaped.
