Get your outfit ready, practice your timing, and make sure your steed looks better than the rivals’. Hobby Horse has just launched on Steam – it is a racing game where style matters just as much as skill, and clearing obstacles with the grace of an absolute horseback sigma is the ultimate goal.
You don’t need a giant stable or a championship bloodline to get started. In Hobby Horse, everything begins in your own room, where you can create your dream hobby horse, pick accessories, and prepare for upcoming challenges. Trophies and rewards earned during races can later be displayed in your virtual apartment, helping you build a reputation as a true hobby horsing champion. Players will also be able to compare their scores with others – so saddle up!
There will be plenty of opportunities to test your skills in action. Players can race across a variety of tracks, including a gym hall, forest, gnome village, desert, glacier, and even a wild island. Running, jumping over obstacles, and chasing victory are at the heart of the gameplay, where reflexes and perfect timing make all the difference.
Additionally, special boosters will appear during races, helping players overcome even the toughest tracks. Extra speed or spectacularly high jumps may be the deciding factor between victory and defeat. One thing is certain – it’s a different type of horse.
Customization will play a huge role in the experience as well. Hobby horses can be equipped with unique styles, accessories, and cosmetic items that allow every rider to stand out during competitions. The developers prepared hundreds of customization elements that allow to create thousands of different visual combinations. Players will also decorate their own room and customize their character by changing hairstyles, eye color, clothes, and more. On top of that, the game features track creation tools, giving players the freedom to unleash their creativity and build their own challenges.
